Shanghai Pacific Legal: promotion of Rongxin Huang to the partnership

Shanghai Pacific Legal announced the promotion of Rongxin Huang as a partner, effective January 1, 2024. 

Joining SPL in 2021, Rongxin is an experienced dispute resolution lawyer focusing on litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in the financial and corporate fields. Since Joining, Rongxin has led the dispute and resolution team which has been named for two consecutive years as “Firms to Watch” in Dispute Resolution: Litigation (PRC firms) in the Legal 500 Asia Pacific China 2023 and 2024 editions.

Rongxin advises on a wide range of disputes relating to stocks, bonds, trusts, asset management schemes, loans and guarantees, commercial factoring, etc., several of which are landmark cases within the industry. He also advises financial institutions clients on financial compliance with respect to bonds, derivatives, securities, and information disclosure requirements of listed companies. In addition, Rongxin advises on a broad range of complex regulatory investigations and compliance matters, especially in relation to anti-bribery and corruption and discovery process for overseas legal proceedings.
